Sri Chinmaya Vidyashram had its early beginning as a small night school in a, thatched hut with handful of students.

The growing number of students and the need for more space for various activities prompted the members of the

Board to expand the school.  

 

Sri Chinmaya Vidyashram, featured by permanent buildings in lush green surroundings with the required safety measures, big spacious well ventilated class rooms, with a vast playground stands on an extensive 1-acre campus in the peaceful outskirts of Chennai providing a conducive atmosphere for a joyous learning.

 

The serene and calm environment adds on to better learning process.

 

The infrastructure of the school has been carefully designed to accommodate learning  and all round development of the child.                   

 

The school has well equipped Science labs and a good library.

 

The teachers are loving ,caring and take genuine interest in the holistic development of the child.
